If you are a Beaumont Health physician interested in learning more about leadership and the business of health care, consider applying to the Beaumont Physician Leadership Academy. BPLA is funded and supported by Beaumont for all its physicians.

BPLA is designed to develop physicians who will provide leadership for enhanced clinical outcomes, process/program design, and cost-effective service delivery innovations needed to better serve our patients, our communities and our physicians. Increasingly, Beaumont considers completion of BPLA requirement for physicians seeking leadership positions within the organization.

The Academy consists of a nine-month curriculum of educational sessions with an initial weekend session followed by one weeknight monthly. Group project work and executive mentoring are also part of the BPLA experience. Classes are held in a centralized location—most recently at Beaumont, Farmington Hills’ Colen Auditorium.
