Glint in your inbox: Complete the confidential listening survey by June 30
The Team Member Listening Survey measures questions around engagement, belonging, well-being, safety and culture at Corewell Health to help guide decisions and make a stronger organization. A personalized survey link from Glint has been sent directly to your email, but you can also log in (Employed Physicians and APPs, Independent Physicians and APPs ) using your Corewell Health network ID and birthdate. 

Legionella infection: More common in the summer and fall months
Front-line clinicians caring for patients with confirmed or suspected pneumonia should consider Legionellosis, particularly during the warmer and wetter months of the season. The preferred diagnostic tests for Legionnaire’s disease are the Legionella urinary antigen and a respiratory culture for Legionella grown on selective media.

Urgent for July 21 OEE go-live:

Spend a few minutes now to reduce frustration later

  • Test your login to the new Corewell Health Epic environment by July 19. Testing now will help ensure access to the correct environment at go-live. Login testing can be done virtually at your workspace and should take approximately five minutes.
  • Avoid long wait times and attend a Provider Personalization lab to get in-person support to help customize your Epic settings prior to go-live. Be prepared and register today!  
  • Complete assigned Epic training tasks in Workday. Educational modules are assigned based on provider role and can be found by selecting ‘Learning’ from the main menu. Completion of modules will be tracked regularly.

Duo is being replaced with Imprivata ID to verify your identity when electronically prescribing controlled substances, EPCS. Sign up for a virtual session today.

On July 21 CHE moves to Intelerad radiology PACs; retires Philips radiology PACS: Corewell Health East will transition from Philips radiology PACS to Intelerad radiology PACS, the new enterprise imaging system. Images viewed in Epic will utilize the Ambra viewer.

APTT DTI now available at all Corwell Health West Labs
APTT Direct Thrombin Inhibitor, or APTT DTI, an inpatient clot-based assay for monitoring the APTT in patients on direct thrombin inhibitors including Argatroban, Dabigatran and Bivalrudin, can now be performed at all Corewell Health West sites.

Suicide is preventable: LivingWorks Applied Suicide Interventions Skills workshop
