Corewell Health System Updates

Imprivata ID enrollment extended to June 7

Corewell Health East and West providers who e-prescribe controlled substances must enroll in Imprivata ID. The enrollment deadline has been extended to Friday, June 7, and more virtual sessions are now available.

Subcutaneous insulin dosing change

For providers in the South and East regions, there is a new process for ordering basal-bolus insulin.

Annual Compliance Education for Corewell Health team members

All team members are required to complete the 2024 Annual Compliance Education program. Courses are assigned in Workday and are due by Thursday, Oct. 31. Annual education helps you understand relevant laws, regulations and policies and helps you proactively spot potential issues before a violation occurs. Personalization labs available before OEE launch

Research in glaucoma therapy

Congratulations to Jamie Beckman, D.O., an ophthalmology resident at Corewell Health Taylor Hospital, whose research projects have been recognized by the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.  His research on a newly approved, minimally invasive glaucoma surgical device, the STREAMLINE Surgical System, shows benefits in glaucoma therapy.

HDVCH hosts Storytime with a Scientist

The Office of Research at Corewell Health West and HDVCH’s Blue Glass Studio host Storytime with a Scientist (on The Well) — a livestream for pediatric patients where physicians read stories, share their experiences as researchers and conduct experiments.
