Transition from Traditional Transcription Service to Voice Recognition Tools 

 

During One Epic Ecosystem launching in July 2024, Corewell Health transitioned away from traditional transcription services. Moving forward, providers can use a template to document, use M*Modal Fluency Direct (real-time voice recognition dictation) or a combination to complete the brief op note and/or operative note. 

 

At Corewell Health, we're ushering in a new era of dynamic, agile clinical documentation with voice recognition for dictation and transcription. These innovations offer rapid document turnaround times and elevate provider satisfaction, all while giving patients immediate access to their finalized notes in MyChart.

 

 

    “I love it and use it regularly and almost daily, as do my APPs. It allows fewer dot phrases and more individuality per patient notes and assessment in an efficient method.  Also, at home, very useful.
