Beaumont Physician Partners is pleased to sponsor the Beaumont Physician Leadership Academy. BPLA is designed to provide physicians the necessary collaborative leadership skills and critical thinking that medical schools do not and ensure Beaumont as the leading high-value health care network focused on extraordinary outcomes through education, innovation and compassion.

BPLA’s typical ten-month academy year consists of monthly classes taught by nationally known and in-house Beaumont content experts, executive mentoring, Beaumont’s Quality Academy and group projects, which culminate in presentations before Beaumont’s administrative and executive leadership. Subject matter includes finance, marketing, negotiations and interpersonal competence. The curriculum was designed by Beaumont physicians for Beaumont physicians and is reviewed annually by a Beaumont physician advisory group. 

BPLA is free of charge and open to all Beaumont physicians as we strive to make each year’s class as inclusive and diverse as possible, representing each of the eight Beaumont medical staffs. Typical candidates are involved in medical staff, hospital, group, or educational committees and leadership positions and are eager to develop and learn additional skills to move their practice, patient care and Beaumont Health forward with a culture of accelerated change and dynamic leadership.
