Per the Trenton Rules and Regulations, all operative reports are required to be completed within 24 hours.

If an operative note is not completed within 48 hours, the surgeon's elective cases can be held until all outstanding operative notes are completed.

Every weekday, a report with outstanding operative notes is generated at approximately 6 a.m.

Beginning Nov. 1, 2024, Trenton OR Management will be contacting surgeon offices to remind surgeons of the outstanding operative notes. They will also be reminding surgeons that elective cases can be held.

Beginning Dec. 1, 2024, Trenton OR  Management will hold elective cases for outstanding operative notes. Once the surgeon completes the note(s), the cases can proceed.
