Corewell Health is participating in National Lung Cancer Screening Day!
Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024
Stop wondering. If you currently smoke or quit, check your lung health.
Are you eligible?
- Are you 50 to 80 years old?
- Do you currently smoke cigarettes or have quit in the past 15 years?
- Do you have at least a 20 pack-year smoking history?
What do you need to do to prepare for screening?
- Talk with your primary care doctor about the benefits and limits of this type of screening. A physician’s order is required to schedule a low-dose CT scan. We can help with that.
Schedule a 15-minute screening near you:
There are more than a dozen Corewell Health locations across the state open on National Lung Cancer Screening Day.
- Southwest Michigan – 269.556.2843
- Southeast Michigan – 800.328.8542
- West Michigan – 616.267.2626 options 2 then 3
We are looking forward to seeing you Nov. 9!
Low-dose lung CT scans use advanced imaging techniques to detect the smallest, suspicious specks — before anything spreads. We follow national radiation safety protocols.
Most insurances including Medicare and Medicaid cover a lung cancer screening if eligibility requirements are met.
