Change to Clinical Service Desk Effective April 1 to May 3

In preparation for support of the One Epic Ecosystem (OEE) go-live for Corewell Health South and West on April 21, the Corewell Health East clinical service desk will be changing their hours of operation and support levels effective April 1 - May 3.
 
Temporary Hours of Operation
The clinical service desk will be changing their hours of operation beginning April 1 from their regular support schedule.
 
April 1 – May 3
Clinical Service Desk Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
 
The clinical service desk will return to the normal service hours of 6am – 6pm on May 4.
  
Support Level and Call Tree Change
From April 1 through May 3 there will only be two clinical service desk members receiving calls for Corewell Health East while remaining staff assist with the go-live in the South. At this time, the clinical service desk will also shift support to only focus on Physicians, residents, fellows, and APPs. The call tree options will be changed to reflect this change:
 
Call Tree Change: “If you are a physician experiencing an issue, please press 3”
  
Expanding Service After Go-Live
After the April 21 go-live, the clinical service desk will begin providing support to Corwell Health South physicians and APPs in addition to the East. A call tree option similar to the option above will be added after dialing the South service desk line to direct physicians and APPs to this service.
 
In Fall 2024 after the Corewell Health East go-live, the clinical service desk with further expand support to these roles at Corewell Health West. More information on this expansion will be provided as it becomes available.
