Beaumont Health has received five American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines® achievement awards for demonstrating commitment to following up-to-date, research-based guidelines for the treatment of stroke, ultimately leading to more lives saved, shorter recovery times and fewer readmissions to the hospital.
Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke is an in-hospital program for improving stroke care by ensuring patient care consistently follows the latest scientific treatment guidelines.
This year, Beaumont received these achievement awards:
- Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke Silver Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll for Beaumont hospitals in Dearborn, Farmington Hills, Trenton and Troy.
- Get With The Guidelines ® – Silver Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite, Advanced Therapy and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll for Beaumont, Royal Oak.
The awarded Beaumont campuses will be recognized in the following ways:
- Advertisement in U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Hospitals” print and digital editions
- At the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association national conferences, including the International Stroke Conference & Scientific Sessions
