Duo is currently used at Beaumont as a two-factor authentication solution to ensure the security of protected health information against phishing attacks. It is used for oneChart electronic prescribing of controlled substances, Microsoft 365 and access to BHApps. This extra layer of protection ensures that someone cannot misuse your account, even if they have your username and password.
Soon, if you are not enrolled in Duo, you will be unable to access Beaumont online systems when not on the Beaumont network. This will not impact your access while at a Beaumont location.
Those who are not enrolled in Duo will receive an email from no-reply@duosecurity.com. Follow the steps within to complete enrollment and begin using Duo to confirm your identity. Need to reset your Beaumont password? Visit pss.beaumont.org.
