Avoid disciplinary action, complete your Annual Education on time
We are closing in on the window to complete Annual Education modules. Please log in to HealthStream and get them done by Friday, June 11. Annual Education is a requirement at Beaumont Health; non-completion may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Mobile Heartbeat upgrade for emergency quick dial coming to iPhones June 8
Mobile Heartbeat continues to add exciting new features to deliver the functionality you require. On Tuesday, June 8 at 8 a.m., iPhone users on shared and personal devices will have access to quick dial emergency buttons for their associated Beaumont campuses. This enhancement will reduce the number of steps required to contact your sites’ emergency operator from Mobile Heartbeat.
If you are already logged into Mobile Heartbeat on June 8 at 8 a.m., log out and back in to see this enhancement. This enhancement is only available for iPhone, and not Android currently.
From the dashboard, tap the emergency operator you would like to contact. The popup will appear to confirm, tap the number to then call. Beaumont, Farmington Hills will choose Code Blue or Rapid Response before the number appears to call.
For questions or issues, please contact the Service Desk at 888-481-2448.
Monthly IT server maintenance initiative beginning
Starting this month, Information Technology will begin a new initiative to patch application servers more frequently. A patch is an update that addresses security vulnerabilities within a program. The timing will be coordinated to limit the potential impact on patients and application users.
