Network downtime planned for May 19
On Wednesday, May 19 at 11 p.m., multiple systems that require internet access will be unavailable for 5-15 minutes while maintenance is performed. This includes:
- Internet
- Web paging
- 10-digit paging will not be impacted
- DMZ applications, such as Outlook and SharePoint
- Credit card processing
- myBeaumontChart
- External Epic/oneChart services
- Remote access: including physician remote access, Direct Access, BHAPPS, Aruba RAPs and Check Point client VPN
- VPN tunnels to external partners
- Ambulatory sites/Urgent Care locations
- Mobile Heartbeat personal devices
- Shared devices will not be impacted
- Other clinical applications that require internet access
oneChart, Soft, PACS, PeopleSoft, the Guest wireless network and voice services will no experience any disruptions.
Please use established downtime procedures while maintenance is underway. Ensure you have an alternative way to reach physicians and other staff/departments while paging is unavailable. If you need to reach a physician, and an alternate method of contact is not available, call Operator Services for assistance.

oneChart outbreak, disaster navigators discontinued
Effective today, nursing documentation on COVID-19 patients will return to pre-pandemic documentation standards. As a result, the Disaster and Emergency Center Outbreak Navigators and disaster required documentation will be removed from oneChart. Nursing team members are encouraged to review this flyer.
