On Aug. 11, the new Manetom Espree 1.5T open-bore MRI system became available at our hospital. The system allows for a new level of comfort for your patients. It has three times the power of a conventional open MRI system. The new system offers features such as a wider opening to provide more space over the patient’s head, which can help patients who experience claustrophobia, a short bore allowing you to perform exams with your patient’s head completely outside of the magnet and more.
