John Pui, M.D. took over as chair of Pathology after Gil Herman, M.D., who retired after serving nearly 20 years in this role. Dr. Pui joined the medical staff of Botsford General Hospital in 2009, where he was a part-time member of the Pathology Department, assisting the hospital with difficult dermatopathology cases. He joined the department as a full-time member and associate department chair in 2012. As the new chair, Dr. Pui will be responsible for providing vision and leadership in the department.
