To enhance protection from internet security threats, infrastructure changes will occur at founding Beaumont and Farmington Hills locations. This is in preparation for future restricted access to public data-file-sharing web sites and personal email when using Beaumont devices on the Beaumont Corporate network. Infrastructure changes will occur at founding Beaumont and Botsford hospitals on the following dates:
- Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe – March 7
- Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills – March 13
- Beaumont Hospital, Troy – March 20
- Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak – March 29
These infrastructure changes are not the activation of the security restriction policy itself, but there is a small potential for impact when accessing public internet sites. For more information, see the IT Bulletin.
If you need access to public data-file-sharing websites and personal email from a Beaumont device that is connected to the Beaumont Corporate network, complete a Security Risk Exception.
