Transgender 101 virtual sessions, March 23 and April 13
Corewell Health team members are invited to attend two Transgender 101 virtual sessions held on Thursday, March 23, and Thursday, April 13. The sessions will cover terminology, the gender spectrum, pronoun usage and how to create a more supportive, welcoming culture for transgender patients and family members. Trans challenges in the workplace, including statistics, will also be shared.

Attending or watching the recording of the first session is highly recommended before attending or watching the second session. The virtual sessions are sponsored by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and Patient and Family Experience team. The sessions will be recorded and shared with team members.
