We are pleased to announce the appointment and promotion of Dr. Millward as the chief of clinical Pathology of Beaumont Health. In this position, he will oversee the Clinical Pathology service at Beaumont’s eight hospitals. Read more.

Dr. Millward joined Beaumont in 2008 as the medical director and fellowship director of Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine at Beaumont, Royal Oak. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology with subspecialty training in blood banking and transfusion medicine.

Currently, Dr. Millward is an associate professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and is very active in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. He has been awarded the Pathologist of the Year award for Excellence in Residency Training four times since 2009. Dr. Millward is also the chair of Clinical Competency Committees for Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine Fellowship and Pathology Residency programs.
