The SCP VBR program will maintain its March to February incentive cycle per BCBSM. The SCP VBR program incentivizes those specialists who show both high performance in quality and cost metrics.

The following changes have been made in the program effective Friday, March 1:

• ·new diabetic eye exam metric for ophthalmology specialist
• removal of HbA1c testing metric from endocrinology specialist
• for anesthesiologists, VBRs will be applied to the time and based codes billed by anesthesiologist with the QK and QY modifiers.
• additional SCP who engage in Collaborative Quality Initiative are eligible to receive an additional three percent VBR this year:

2019 SCP VBR results will be released in mid-February 2019. Beaumont ACO will communicate results via mail and/or email to each practice/provider.
