Updated isolation guidelines, Dec. 29

On Dec. 24, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revised their isolation period recommendation for asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic health care workers who test positive for COVID-19. Beaumont Health will follow these new recommendations, effective immediately. If you tested positive for COVID-19 and are asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic, you should re-test on day seven and return to work if you receive a negative result.

Team members will need to submit proof of a negative rapid antigen test, including name, date tested and location tested, to Employee Health & Safety in order to receive clearance to return to work earlier than 10 days. Please note that EHS is not offering COVID-19 testing at this time.

Team members ready to return to work should call the Employee Hotline at 947-522-3466.
