Our overall goal is to provide ongoing evidence-based educational opportunities to support the life-long learning of the interprofessional health care team to improve competence, enhance practice performance, promote patient safety and improve patient outcomes.
Educational Highlights
- In support of improving patient care, Beaumont Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. This designation recognizes our dedication to education “of the team, for the team, by the team” and allows us to offer physician, nursing, and pharmacy credit at a national level under a single set of accreditation criteria and standards.
- Accredited with Commendation by the American Osteopathic Association to provide category 1-A credits to osteopathic physicians.
- Approved by the American Psychological Association to provide CE credits to psychologists
