Curriculum Framework and Essential Elements
Each session is approximately three hours in length and meets once monthly in the evening.
All sessions are very interactive and employ the most modern principles and practices of high-performing health service organizations across the U.S.
Topics are supplemented by pre-reading materials, individualized leadership assessment, stretch experiences and small group projects.
Session faculty include local and national healthcare experts.
The program begins in February with graduation in October.
Structured, targeted and dynamic development initiatives impart practical job-related leadership skills to leadership teams and individuals.
Programming is recommended and reviewed by the BPLA Advisory Group.
With three to four other fellows, each fellow creates a longitudinal "small group" project outside of the classroom, recommended by Beaumont leadership.
Subject advisors provide guidance and resources.
Presentations of these projects before leadership, peers and alums occurs in September.
A message from our BPLA sponsor, Dave Walters, D.O.
